What do you specialise in?
We specialise in providing the services of videographers and photographers for many events such as weddings, birthdays, parties and religious ceremonies. We also edit footage, convert media types, design albums and slideshows.

How long have you been established?
We have been in the industry since 1982.

Where are you based and what area in the UK do you cover?
We cover all of the UK and are based in West Midlands.

Can we come to visit your studio?
Yes. We always recommend seeing the quality of our work to give yourself piece of mind before booking us. We can also discuss your event and tailor a package to meet your requirements. Feel free to call us to arrange a consultation.

What if we live too far from your studio?
We also offer Skype™ video meetings so you can speak with us via webcam. Please call to arrange this.

Can you cover both sides of a wedding?
Yes. In fact we work much more efficiently this way as we are all on the same team, so there is less competitiveness and more cooperation and teamwork. When it is all of our team covering a wedding, the quality of film is also better as we can optimise the lighting for our cameras. This is something that is not possible when another company uses their lighting also. There are benefits in the editing phase too, as we can mix the footage from each side to ensure every angle of your event is covered. Also when booking from both sides, you are eligible for a discount.

Do you do package deals for both filming and photos?
Yes. In fact most of our deals are in packages as we have found that when covering both video and photography, our team can cooperate more effectively at the event. Also by having access to all of the photos in production, we can easily use them on the DVD menus and covers for your film. Our wedding package deals usually include filming and photography, all photos on disc, a storybook album and fully edited DVDs or Blu-rays with interactive menus, personalised covers and artwork.

What is a storybook album?
A storybook album is a digitally created album that contains your chosen photos. Every page is uniquely designed on specialised software. We have an extensive range of storybook albums that are all carefully crafted.

There is a large selection of different sizes that vary in price with materials ranging from strong aluminium to smooth italian leather. You can even personalise the finish of the pages on some albums with gloss or matte pages.

How do we get our storybook album?
The first stage is choosing your album.  When booking us, you will have the opportunity to choose the album you want, however you have the option to change album at any time until pre-production.  The second stage is design, which starts directly after you select the photos from your photo CD. These photos are given to our designers who will take their time in creating your visually stunning pages. These designs are then emailed to you in draft form to give you the chance to offer any input or simply give us the go ahead for final stage – printing.

These albums are not like the old style “stick on” photos. The designs are printed onto the strong pages of the book itself and each page is given a special protective coating to help strengthen it. Every album is timeless.

What does your typical edited film consist of and what kind of input can I have?
Our editing style is simple and classic. We have found that by using a lot of special effects on a project, when looking back at your film in years to come, it can look very outdated. But if you prefer more effects, you can request them as we are very flexible in how we edit. We can add family names, childhood photos, slideshows and a short highlights reel of the event. Also you can request and even provide the songs you would like on the film and menus. We also personalise our DVD/Blu-ray menus to make every menu unique to the event for example matching the menu colour with the Bride’s outfit.

Can you take our Pre-wedding photos?
Yes. Pre-shoots are an amazing way to show the personality of the couple through photography. They are perfect for weddings as they offer a lot more ways personalise the event. With the many options such as our personalised guest signing books, floor standing banners or just a simple slideshow for the reception, a pre-shoot ensures the couple are the highlight of the event, even if they haven’t arrived yet!

What is Cinematography? Do you offer it?
Cinematography is an alternative type of film compared to our traditional wedding film. Our traditional capture method uses broadcast cameras which allows for a more documentary style film with longer shots which take less time to set up, whereas cinematography uses smaller DSLR cameras and different techniques to capture shorter movie style shots. With cinematography, wedding films are visually stunning, but turn out a lot shorter than a traditional film. Unlike traditional videography, cinematography usually requires more than one team member to capture footage and is a lot more time consuming to edit therefore resulting in a higher cost. We offer cinematography but not as standard.

There are two types of cinematography that we offer. The first being the whole event captured by a cinematography crew which will result in an amazing movie like experience but it will be short. If you or your family are the type that like to have every moment, every prayer or every dance captured, full cinematography is not for you. This brings us to our second option, cinematography highlights. The benefit of our traditional videography is that we can capture a lot more footage. This is because the equipment takes less time to set up and is quicker to use, therefore the result is a longer slower paced film that shows much more of your event that you may not have even remembered. These films come with a highlights reel as standard but just using the traditional footage. If you want the glamorous effect of cinematography but don’t want to sacrifice on the length of your film, you can choose to add cinematography highlights to your package. Along with the videographer, we will send a cinematographer to capture the highlights of the event. This combines the best of both worlds and is also more cost effective than full cinematography. What is a Crane? Do you offer it?
Cranes offer a more dynamic view of the event with smooth panning and higher shots which wouldn’t be otherwise achievable. A crane is a large piece of equipment, usually positioned next to a dance floor. We currently have a choice of two Cranes that are optional extras which can be added to the reception. Do you offer High Definition/Blu-ray?
Yes. We use the latest HD equipment to capture our events. You can add Blu-ray to your package before or even after your event. Once edited, the footage is burned to Blu-ray disks which can then be played with a Blu-ray player and HDTV. With enhanced picture clarity, vivid colours and crystal clear sound, this is the ultimate way to experience your film.

How long after the event can we collect our film?
Timescales can vary for each film. Many factors can affect the turnaround of a product such as time of year, length of event, extra editing e.g. for crane or cinematography footage and how soon you send us the required content e.g. family names or song requests. For these reasons, we don’t tend to provide a definitive completion date, but on average we turn around a film within 12 to 16 weeks after the event as we have a full time editing team. You won’t have to worry about us taking over a year!

How do we book you?
You will need to visit our studio for a consultation so we can tailor a package to suit your requirements. Once you are happy with the package, you will be required to provide a deposit and fill out some paperwork. After this your date will be secured!
